Mr Alusi graduated from Leicester University Medical School in 1987. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992 in General Surgery, Otolaryngology in 1994 and in 1998 attained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. His general training in Otolaryngology has been at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, The Royal Marsden, The Royal Free and St. Bartholomew's Hospitals.

Mr Alusi joined the ENT consultant staff at St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals in 2001.He specialises in all aspects of rhinology including endoscopic sinus surgery, rhinoplasty and oncology. He has a special interest in image guided surgery which was the subject of his Ph.D. thesis completed in 2001.
